SVR INN

Rooms beautifully decorated - loved the wooden tables which I understand were from a tree on the host’s farm. Nicely appointed bathroom. Very good breakfast. Conveniently located for the mall. Amazing host - really went out of his way to be helpful.

The only downside is that the soundproofing was not good but I was pretty tired anyway when I stayed so I slept fine.

Mr. Romil is a great personality and easily managed guest and feels like home.. next time surely my accommodation will be the same. Great stay in SVR Inn.

Actually nothing, everything was managed by Mr Romil very nicely..

Very friendly manager. He and his wife were always around for help or advice. The location was next to the clocktower but the inn was placed in a side-alley and there was almost no noise. In the room, everything was there and functioning.

The room had almost no natural light and was rather cold so now, in the beginning of spring it is rather chilly. Possibly other rooms are less cold.

SVR Inn is an amazing homestay to live in. I booked this place from booking.com and this has pay at the property facility. It was around 2000 indian rupee per night as we booked from booking.com. I went to Darjeeling for our anniversary tour and stayed there for 4 nights. Breakfast was included and it was homemade breakfast. The owner's (Mr Romel) wife made the food which was really amazing filling and homely. The property is secured with CCTV camera, and there are several gates which makes it more secured. it is situated right beside the State bank of India and the clock tower is 2 minutes walk. It is 10 minutes walking distance from the Railway and 5 minutes from the Rink Mall. I stayed at the room 201 which was a couple room and there were 2 more rooms in that floor. In that floor there is a common dinner table and a seating area side by side. The decoration is pretty cute, cozy and aromatic. The homestay owner and his family is really friendly and amazing host. We chatted whenever we met each other and got to know alot of local culture. Also he suggested us places to go and where to eat.

A great location,only 2 minutes walk from the Mall. Owner was super friendly, great to chat to, and very helpful in providing information about the area, and always helpful in ensuring we had good stay. The room was very clean.
