Chama Trails Motel

We liked the quaintness and the "home feeling."

We felt like there wasn't enough ventilation especially after showering; the room got real humid till we turned on the air or opened the door.

Precious little motel! Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect except for the bed. It was hard as a rock.

Location was excellent. Updated furnishings were nice - southwest motif. Nice electric fireplace heater.

Door entry system was difficult. Lots of air coming in around door. Curtains would be better than the wooden shutters - there was nothing to hold them together and still gaps.

The property was spotlessly clean. The heater was loud and it was difficult to sleep with the noise. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was amazed at how clean and nicely appointed the room was.

The check-in person could’ve been a little friendlier. I was later on in the evening, but still well within the guidelines of arrival times. A little friendliness would’ve got a long way.

The suite was huge with a beautiful fireplace in the middle of the room. It was nicely decorated and very cozy. The beds were comfortable.

The bathroom is tiny. The door to the bathroom is sprung and is difficult to get to stay closed.
