Chama Trails Motel

Dry clean, friendly staff and no problems checking in. Happy with our two evening stay.

Convenient location, an older but nicely updated and maintained facility. The food trailer in the front courtyard with the picnic tables is a very nice addition.

I am finding that when I travel, I find that I like the convenience of a single floor motel with doors that open to the parking lot. With a lot of the newer hotels you might end up with a room on the 3rd floor and long way to schlep luggage. You may also say: Darn, I forgot that thing in the car, which after a long day might take some effort to retrieve it. With this hotel, my car was about 10 steps from the door. The ice machine was about 10 steps from my door. This is a small motel. Chama Trails, for it's age was quite acceptable for a one-night stay. Also, the local grocery store was just across the street.

Pretty much as I expected. No complaints.

The motel is very clean, updated and comfortable. Would stay there again.
