Fronalpstock Hotel & Restaurant

This is a COOL hotel. Big windows with panoramic view of the mountains above the clouds. You're on the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere. You literally have to take chairlifts to get to it (luggage and all). It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel (in a good way). The food was EXCELLENT (except the steak, it was a little weird like it had been boiled) and staff was very helpful and attentive.

The shower never got warm. After a chilly day outside if you're hoping for a hot shower it's not guaranteed. I let it run for 20+ minutes and it was lukewarm/chilly. I told them about this. They're aware, and when "it's this cold outside it happens because all the energy goes to heating."

Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Essen. Tolles Frühstück. Außergewöhnlich tolle Lage.

Alle haben sich sehr mühe gegeben, essen und Frühstück war gut. Aussicht war der Hammer! Jeder sollte sich mal eine Nacht dort oben gönnen, zu zweit oder mit Familie und Freunden.

Amazing sunset and sunrise view! was able to start our hike when it wasn’t busy and it was very worth it!

There was nothing to dislike

Moderne Einrichtung, tolle Mitarbeiter, bequemes Bett, die Lage, das Frühstück. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, die Tische wurden bereits vorbereitet für die Gäste, genau so wie Frühstück. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal bei gutem Wetter. Das Personal ist super locker und freundlich und gibt sich viel Mühe.

Check-in Zeiten bei Booking sind sehr verwirrend. Während der Selbstbedienung am Abend war das Personal sehr gestresst und der Check-in etwas holprig. Sehr hellhörig - aber es ist normal bei einem Berghotel.
