Carew Inn

Free parking was very useful. Proximity to Carew castle was great

Could have done with more space for clothes (a chest of drawers instead of dressing table for example)

We loved our accommodation in a cottage next door to the Carew Inn and we were welcomed warmly by the host. There is a cosy bar at the Inn with friendly staff and plenty of drinks to choose from.... We went across the road to the castle which was lovely and returned to the Inn for an evening meal. The menu was good and we chose fish & chips which were delicious

Nothing to dislike

Good choices for breakfast, cooked well and nicely presented. Room comfortable and well equipped.

A quality room well fitted out with WIFI, all the basics required, and a very comfortable bed !

Not suited for those with walking difficulties as a few steps from the road need to be climbed to access to cottages, on a steep narrow busy road!

The room was large comfortable and the shower was stunning (rainfall with separate spray head that had a wonderful massage setting that felt wonderful on my neck and shoulders) - food was great (evening meals superb and fabulous breakfast - make sure you book if want to sample their evening menu, very popular for good reason) and the setting beautiful - had a small cosy pub attached with a couple of real ales. We stayed in one of the rooms in the guest cottage that can be rented as a whole - had a kitchen and utility area with a good sized living/dining area and own patio/garden - would definitely consider a longer stay with friends (enough room for 2 couples). Spent whole day in Tenby - fabulous eateries and ended up there for over 8 hours without feeling bored or struggling to find decent food/drinks - shout out to local brewery Harbwr - great beer, fabulous selection and physical spaces have real charm and cater for all (non-drinkers, allergens, vegans) - definitely worth a visit to any of their outlets.

Only downside was that Uber did not operate there despite stating it did - we ended up calling local taxi firm instead. For reference we ended up using Tenby Taxis to get us to and from Tenby - would recommend pre-booking before arrival to ensure availability.

Scelto perché con pub annesso e vicino a nostri punti di interesse durante un lungo viaggio in auto. La stanza è molto carina e pulita.

Non hanno mai risposto ai messaggi in chat, né post prenotazione, né il giorno dell'arrivo. Quindi li ho chiamati il giorno dell'arrivo e ho scoperto che la domenica sera non c'è servizio di ristorazione (e non c'era scritto da nessuna parte) e addirittura che la colazione è solo dalle 9 alle 10! Mai sentita una cosa simile. Chiesto alla cameriera se si poteva anticipare ma mi ha detto di no, quindi la mattina siamo scesi alle 8:20 lo stesso e per fortuna c'era un'altra cameriera che ci ha servito e ci ha consentito di viaggiare serenamente senza perdere il volo. La sala colazione ha un odore di cane bagnato, forse perché il posto è pet friendly, ma quando siamo arrivati c'eravamo solo noi... Non ci tornerei per niente e consiglio di aggionare gli orari sulle informazioni perché avessimo saputo che a) eravamo senza cena ( e abbiamo dovuto modificare tutto l'itinerario di quel giorno) e b) rischiavamo di perdere l'aereo, saremmo andati altrove.
