The Mandeville

Room was very comfortable. Checkin process was seamless and fast. Our room was ready when we reached, though we reached ahead of time.

There was some intermittent sound, possibly of some motor or something. At night, that was li’l disturbing, though manageable. Through the day, if some food is available on order that will be good. You need not go out for lunch and snacks.

Horrible electricity. Loose outlets: nothing worked well to charge our phones. They brought an electrician but he could not do much as they would need to update all the outlets . At least he repaired one outlet that did not work at all. No soundproofing at all: you hear conversations from the room next door as if the people were in your own room.

Nice staff, bed were ok. Good shower.

Nicely decorated rooms.

Walls are so thin you can hear every word of your neighbor as if he was inside your room - no joking. I had a room with other rooms on both sides and I could hear every word on TV from the left and every step, shower or word spoken from the right. No idea how one can build a hotel like this. It's a shame as apart from this and the really bad braakfast the place is quite nice.

The approach to the hotel from the main road is narrow and unattractive.

It was in a great location and staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated and were very comfortable.

Only 2 negatives, one of which is easily resolved. The bathroom window pane needs frosted glass or a cover as next door building occupants have clear view through the bathroom. And secondly we could hear the next room guest's conversation and music. Otherwise a gem of a place to stay in. Would recommend without hesitation.

The entire hotel gives a retro vibe…

The place is done up very tastefully ! its a small space but still very well done. Rooms are clean, staff friendly.

Breakfast was average.
