Harus Damai Inn

The hosts! They were so friendly and sweet and so caring. For three young women we felt very comfortable around the host and his family and we felt very safe here. The Inn is very cute and rooms were clean and the food was really yum.

Beautiful place for the whole family, we spend six nights with our kids (7y/10y) at this place direct at the lovely Lagundry Beach! We surfed/bodyboarded/bought sandcastles/beach walked etc. everyday. Sometimes we walked 15‘ to Sorake, the famos surfspot for experience Surfers (not for Kids). Amazing is this place also because of the owner ‚Toris‘ and the whole family/staff. Realy good people, always in our hearts. When you‘re looking for a quiet familiar place without luxus altitude, nice surf possibilities in front of your room and not to much tourists, is this the best place.

For us all perfect. Maybe for other travellers not the standard they would like to have.

Toris and his family are the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I felt like family only 24 hours after arriving (as a young solo traveler who has never been to Asia). They constantly showed me around their island. Toris also taught me how to surf in only a few days & his family taught me how to cook Indonesian style! I 100% recommend getting the full meal package, as all meals are home cooked and delicious! The location is perfect, right on the beach & only a couple minutes from the touristy areas of the island. Toris is one of the best people I have ever met & I will never forget my time spent here. I am already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here for 10 days and it was absolutely amazing. Toris and his family are really nice and helped us with everything we needed. The beach here is beautiful and very quiet. We went surfing almost every day right in front of the hotel. There‘s great waves for beginners to intermediates. For bigger waves, Sorake is only a short ride away and we could rent a scooter with a rack to take our board there. We stayed in one of the double bedrooms with ac in the yellow bungalows which was really nice. The room was very spacious, clean and had a nice terrace just next to the beach. The upstairs rooms with the blue corridor are also nice but more basic so would recommend staying in the yellow bungalows. The food was excellent as well. We could even join in the kitchen for a cooking class to learn some indonesian recipes. All in all, we had an amazing stay and hope to be back soon.

Nice place directly on the beach! Due to the climate everything got kind of damp, but rooms were made up every couple of days. Board and scooter rentals are available and the owner goes out of his way to help in any way possible! Try their cooking (fresh fish) if you get a chance!!!

We like the atmosphere in this family guesthouse. The guesthouse is calm, clean with a direct access to the sandy beach. The owner and his wife are very helpful, patient and flexible in helping us to book a ferry/Taxi. All the staff is polite, friendly and always present at the guesthouse. Surfing boards, surfing lesson and scooter are available. The views are amazing directly on the ocean and the jungle. The food is fresh, handmade and delicious.
