Farr Bay Inn

Great location. Room was comfortable and spotless.

It was self check-in so no reception. No bar or restaurant. Internet was down so no tv or wi-fi. No one to contact re these issues. Just a bit impersonable.

Location and the breakfast. Just few min walking distance from the lovely Farr bay.

Getting locked out of our room and asking the maintenance man to break in to get our stuff.

De cottage is knus en binnen gerenoveerd met mooie materialen. Goede bedden en volledig ingerichte keuken. Vlak bij het strand.

Contact gaat allemaal via berichten/bot. Vind ik zelf erg onpersoonlijk. Verder is er helaas geen restaurant.

Wonderful location and setting. Very comfortable inn.

This hotel was the most expensive during our NC500 trip and completely failed to meet our expectations. The shower was small. It was a self check-in. Both of these things don't matter that much to us, but what did matter was that there was little to no Wi-Fi connection. Because of this, we wasted many hours waiting for a signal. After we reported this, nothing changed. I read about the same problem in previous reviews, so nothing is being done about it. It's a shame, because for this price you should expect some kind of connection. We have stayed in places much further from civilization, so where there's a will, there's a way. With Starlink, for example, you have coverage everywhere. The breakfast was perfectly fine, by the way. But having no Wi-Fi when you count on it and also need it for work results in an evening and morning of great frustration. Unnecessary.
