GBGBBreakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The staff, though, were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a genuine 'service with a smile'. They were fantastic.

GBStaff could not have done more for us. They made us feel warm and welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms are really clean and spacious, and the bed is really comfy. The village is so quiet and picturesque. We had sunday diner whilst staying and the food was amazing.
GBGBThe room (Warfedale) exceeded expectations. Room was very clean. A lot of attention to detail such as bathrobes, good quality towels, fridge with bottled water, coffee / tea making facilities with fresh milk. Bathroom had a good size shower cubical with good water pressure and shelving space for bath bags. Bed was very comfortable, excellent wifi, two seater settee and an arm chair with patio chairs and table. Food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent, good menu choices, staff very friendly. Tip - book evening meal early as on the two nights we stayed the restaurant was fully booked. Will certainly stay here again.

GBGreat little pub. We stayed here on a trip to Wetherby races. Comfortable rooms and one of the best breakfasts I have had in a B&B for a long time.
The bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Staff provided a good service.

Unfortunately there is nothing to do in the village apart from the pub. Not their fault but it is very quiet, which could be seen as a positive!
