Nice location, in the centre of town, close to train station, shops and cathedral and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Heat! No airconditioning and it was a heatwave and the rooms was overheated. A small fan was not enough.

Ich hatte mit Frühstück gebucht ind das war traurig. Allerdings war das Personal sehr bemüht. Ohne Frühstück würde ich jederzeit wieder hier buchen

No toast at breakfast ! Not everyone wants full English. Continental would have been appreciated with nicer looking fruit available .

The breakfast was very disappointing as the staff told us that toast was no longer on the menu. A usual part of the English breakfast. Choice was limited if you had preferred a continental breakfast

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had many extras. The pub offered a range of food , which was very useful. Tea and coffee were available in the room. Although the pub had no car park of its own, there was a public car park nearby.

Could not open the window in the room. There was a fan,which was very useful but not the same as outside air. Breakfast was very generous, but there was little option if you did not want the full breakfast.

Good location, close to the train station and restaurants. Comfy bed.

Breakfast which was included in the price, was very poor, there was little to choose from. Staff were clearing away breakfast stock 20 mins before breakfast had actually finished. There were preserves on the table but there wasn’t any bread/toast available. I did submit feedback but I haven’t received a response so hence I’m highlighting the issues here. The carpet leading from the pub to the accommodation was engrained in dirt and smelt unclean. You are reliant on leaving the window open in the bedroom with a fan on during warmth weather closing the window just before bed.

It did seem queer you got no toast with breakfast

Lovely big room in a great location in the city centre. A really big comfy bed and fan provided. A nice filling breakfast in the morning finished things off nicely.

No water provided in the room however glasses provided for tap water. Shower was difficult to regulate so either really hot or cold.

Friendly and great music!

I didn't want a cooked breakfast - just tea and toast. Greene King "don't allow" toast, apparently! So, having paid for breakfast, I ended up having a mug of tea - and going to the local Wetherspoons. Seriously disappointing.
