Trents by Greene King Inns

We regularly have short breaks away focusing on the South East of England and Chichester was one of the few places we had not visited and what a wonderful City it is. We visited the Cathedral, the Novium Museum and Tangmere Aviation Museum, all of which surpassed our expectations with my young lady impressed by the diversity of shops. Our accommodation, Trents, met our expectations with simplistic rooms including tea / coffee making facilities, and very comfortable bed and powerful shower, which was cleaned daily. Breakfast consisted of a full English but you could pretty much ask for whatever you wanted excepting the choices by what was on offer. My partner had poached eggs on toast for example. My only reason for not giving the highest mark for the staff was I had an issue with one of the bar staff who we found rude but we will not go into that as I do not want to detract from what was an otherwise great stay.

Parking near the pub was expensive!

Good location. Friendly staff. Room comfortable -well equipped. Physical room key rather than key card which I prefer. Was quiet even though above pub and in city centre Meals good. I purchased dinner which was good value. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of hot dishes cooked to order and included veg options. Also self serve fruit juice yoghurt fruit cereals etc. Good value for money overall

Steep stairs. Ok for me but might be difficult for some. Otherwise I thought everything was good
