Premises is not manned once restaurant is closed. No one on duty until 2pm when kitchen staff arrives. No front desk. No reception area. You check in at the restaurant till area. Access to rooms are through the restaurant. No information given at check-in on how to leave the building when checking out as door to restaurant where you initialenter and check-in is locked.. No one answers calls after restaurant closes. The other contact number ie mobile, does not answer. Does not respond even after leaving numerous voice msgs.Room and hotel unclean. Critters crawling on ceiling. Bed sheets had hair. When I requested clean bed sheets, I still found hair on those.I ended up sleeping on chair Bathroom towels were worn with pulled strands. Windows were filthy. Dust on window sills. The room I booked was a deluxe King. This room was no where near deluxe or King Housekeeping staff was very rude

Decent sized room, with a bath. Yorkshire Tea and a full sized kettle. Comfortable bed. Fantastic restaurant with beautiful food and attentive service. Powerful shower with lashings of hot water. Pleasantly set in own grounds. Really lovely staff who were very kind. Free bottled water in room. Easy access. Excellent value for location and time of year..

Tiny cups (brought my own mug!). The lighting in the rooms is "daylight" LED which is very harsh. Much dimmer and warmer coloured bedside lights would make it cosier. Painted Walls could do with a bit of a clean in places. Towels are a bit on the small side..No shower gel or soap provided, just shampoo.

Quiet

No one there to meet us and no one answered phone when we rang on number given. We did get in by finding someone from restaurant to let us in. The door to the hotel was permanently unlocked and the room code was generic so the rooms were not secure enough to leave stuff in although they could be locked from the inside.

Staff were fantastic and the food excellent!!

It's a good place to take a rest after long driving. So quiet and comfortable beds.
