Summerhouse

The apartment is good and the location is excellent: across the street from a beach which is quite good when the northern winds stop. It is equipped with what you may need during your holiday stay. Useful information is provided in a folder.

There were a couple of issues which influenced our experience. First, there is a problem with dampness on the ground floor resulting in a specific musty smell in the lower kitchen cabinets. The flushing of the toilet and running water in the sinks is VERY noisy. The bedroom's only light comes form the living room. Therefore you end up feeling the price does not reflect what you actually get. Yes, it is across the street from the beach but the location still does not justify the price considering the problems in the apartment. We spent two weeks travelling in this part of Greece and we stayed in the same type of apartment everywhere. This was the most expensive and probably the least comfortable.

Petros os a super fantastic host, 15 stars if I could. He has excellent attention to detail and goes above and beyond the call of duty to make ones stay very comfortable. Thank you Petros for making Summerhouse the best on Kythira!

Beautiful place next to the beach, I would recommend it to everyone since some of the most beautiful beaches are 5-10min drive from the apartment. Also if you don't have transportation, the beach next to the house is quiet and perfect for swimmers.
