Gasthaus zum Fuchs - Familie Andrä

Good value for money, nice breakfast

We had an amazing stay at Gasthaus zum Fuchs- the staff could't have been nicer and more accommodating, and we were pleasantly surprised with the apartment we stayed at- it was even more spacious than what the photos conveyed. Tropolach and MilleniumExpress is 12mins away, so great for beating the crowds in the morning, and various grocery shops are 5mins away in Hermagor, but the village itself is nice and peaceful, away from the skiing crowds. We also liked the warmed shed where we could put up our skis and boots to dry. Nice breakfast selection.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the host was very nice and we had a nice breakfast. Great proximity to Nassfel.

It was modern, homey.

Excellent breakfast, good location and easy parking.

The bed was a bit soft as we prefer harder beds.

We stayed in a room with big terrace on the top floor. We particularly liked the big bathroom and huge (walk-in) closet. Breakfast was very good, staff was nice and friendly. Location is good as we were close to both Presseger See and Weissensee.

lovely rooms and unpretentious decor

Nassfeld ski resort is a 15-minute drive away. The staff was very friendly, they offered us a place to store our ski equipment. Everything was clean and nicely equipped. There was enough parking space around the accommodation. Breakfast is available from 7:30, which is great if you want to make the most of the day.

The only thing that bothered us were very soft mattresses.
