Gasthaus Eggerberg

The host/owner and his staff were very friendly. When we arrived at the hotel, the owner greeted us as if we were old friends who hadn't seen each other for years (we spoke German with each other). The room was fine, bathroom too. From the balcony we had a view of the alps in the distance, with a busy road directly under the balcony. Food was excellent. The nearby lake was nice. We stayed for one night on our way to our destination. For this purpose it was good value for money.

Lovely, friendly hosts, comfortable rooms and very clean. The restaurant and bar looked lively - we regretted not coming for dinner! The breakfast was great and we appreciated that the host got up what we think might have been earlier than usual to feed us. Would happily stay here again

Very good breakfast (included) and a varied la carte menu for evening meal. 15 minute walk through wood and farmland to nearest town.

we enjoyed our stay there! all is well equipped and clean it was very convenient to have a supper and breakfast downstairs in the restaurant. if you tired enough not to hear a noise from the road if passing cars (not at all rooms) then it’s a right place to stay.

It was great, right outside the door were the meadows where we could walk our dogs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A really great place to stay.

Proprietor/Manager was very helpful and friendly . On-site restaurant was one of the best small hotel restaurants that we have eaten at in our thousands of kilometers of bike travels in Europe . Breakfast was adequate and good Good secure inside bicycle storage. Hotel and rooms are quite old but really nice , comfortable and very clean . We will return to this very friendly and comfortable place again.

A bit too much road noise at times during the day but quite peaceful at night

Amazing place when you travel with a dog. The owner really likes them and right behind the guesthaus is a meadow and a forest with the way to the lake, also great beer and food. We will always come back on our way to the sea to Croatia or Italy. Thank you very much!

good location next to the beautiful Wallersee. cute rooms, really friendly staff (family) and delicious food! Sauna was nice too (we were alone)!

you will need a car to get there and to move around since there is nearly no public transport nearby. sauna costs 15€ per person, which was not told to us beforehand but ok since we were able to enjoy it alone. Bath could be bigger.
