The pousada is in a great location - you can walk pretty much anywhere in Alter. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful - we arrived late but it wasn't an issue. The breakfast is everything you need to keep you going. I can happily recommend it.

Good coffee and breakfast.

Staff was stingy with towels. No comfortable seating or hammocks for outdoors. Spartan rooms.
