Muito bem localizada e a área de convivência é uma graça.

If you are looking for a Pousada very close to the old historical centre and the Bus station, then it's a great choice. One street away from restaurants, coffee shops, and within a two-minute walk, you will be in the old historical centre. Being so close makes it easy to visit the old historical centre at various times of the day. Easy to go for sunrise and early morning strolls with no one around. Easy to pop out in the evening and catch it in a very different light and vibe. When you balance value for money, facilities, and proximity to the historical centre, this place is a good choice. I don't eat meat, so there was a good choice at the breakfast bar upstairs, and the staff were friendly. From the Pousada, it's a two min walk to the main Tourist Information desk, and they were super friendly and helpful. I spent a week at this Pousada and went Kayaking and Cycling every day. Try not to book your Tours in the Shops, as they a more expensive. I booked my Kayak trips and hired a bike directly with the companies that offered these services, and it was way cheaper. For example, a four-hour kayak tour around the islands with the company was $280R. At the shops in the centre of town, it was $380R! Bike hire - in the town close to the historical centre, they wanted $R200 a day! I got a three-and-a-half-day hire for $175R online via Insta/WhatsApp!!!!!! I didn't do any of the boat trips, but I imagine the same thing applies The area is great for cycling to various waterfalls and following the coastline to various beaches. If you want to hire a Kayak, there are some lovely people from Argentina (so they speak Spanish, English and Portuguese) called KAYAK PARATY and they are based right on the beach at Praia to Pontal. You can hire a kayak for $R50 a hour, and they are super friendly and highly recommended. I did a three-hour trip with them around the island and through the mangrove, and it cost $180R.
