Quirky is a close word to describe it. The outdoor area is magical and you do feel like spending time there looking at decorative colourful things around the garden and pool. However I didn’t feel comfortable to swim in the cloudy water of the pool. The jacuzzi didn’t seem to be working. The house inside is also phenomenal and it’s nice to spend time on the top floor looking out the balcony to see locals pass by. The breakfast food was nice too with various cakes and some fruit. Coffee was tasteful which I had a few. I got nice scrambled eggs for my bread because there were no other options offered.

The linen was dubious in terms of cleanliness and freshness as well as the bathroom. I did have to turn off the fridge otherwise I wouldn’t be able to sleep with its whirring sounds. Hospitality is also about social experience: meeting and chatting with locals or tourists. I didn’t feel that at the reception to start with. At breakfast time, there were no greetings or thank you. Elizabeth, the owner, though was friendly and helpful. And thanks to the girl who works in the afternoon shift I discovered the top floor where I delightfully had my beer and nuts.
