Bonito Paraiso Ilha Grande

The location of this pousada and the atmosphere, with all its details and care stood out. It was also much appreciated that we could use SUP's and kayaks as we were not so lucky with the weather. On grey, drizzly days, you can still kayak, so this was excellent. The breakfast and complimentary tea at 17.00 with delicious cakes was much appreciated. We also stayed for dinner in the evening which was superb. As we are a family of five, we really struggle to find family rooms in Brazil. We usually have to book two rooms. This pousada has a room that can host us all, which is very much appreciated!

Although we will probably come back, the price is on the high end.

It’s the best accommodation of Paraty! It’s a sublime property on a private beach. 10 minutes from Abrao. Very good cuisine. Good cocktails. I come for many years in Ilha Grande, trust me Bonito Paraiso is unbeatable. Staff is very friendly. And the Argentinian owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. Do not hesitate a second

The rooms up to the forest are not extremely isolated.

The place is located in a tropical cove with a private beach. The restaurant is outstanding and you can spend all day sipping Caipirinhas on the beach and using the hotel equipment (which is included) like Kayaks and Paddle boards. The staff are super friendly and the included breakfast was great with different varieties of Crepes made fresh for you.

Nothing - everything was perfect

The staff was great, the location was awesome, the breakfast was yummy and the drinks were fantastic.

The beds and pillows were not comfortable, the guest's bathroom on the first floor was extremely smelly and the food was too pricy for its quality.

We had the most wonderful stay at Bonito Paraiso, everything about it exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel completely at home from the moment we arrived until it was unfortunately time to leave. The location is stunning, located on a semi-private beach around the bay from Abraão, with a dedicated water taxi available for guest use. The house and rooms are beautifully finished, creating a high-end, yet relaxed vibe you'd expect from a luxury beachfront property. The food and drinks were delicious, amongst the best we experienced in Brazil, well worth staying in for the evening. The staff were all fantastic, making sure we always had a Caipirinha in hand and helping us get the kayaks and paddle boards into the sea! They are a real credit to the owners and just another reason why you should choose Bonito!

It took us a couple of trips to get used to the complimentary water taxi, in terms of location and timings, perhaps a Bonito logo on the side might help guests spot the boat in the dark!

Location is marvelous and the food is amazing. Staff is really nice and available.

Prices are a bit on the high end.
