Dunlop Inn

Great location. Across the street from Alexander Bell museum. Right on the water. Plenty of parking. Charming breakfast nook and reading room. Good window coverings for blocking out light.

It is an old house so you can hear everyone walking around or talking. The bed is more of a queen than a king. The shower was warmish the room was cold. I noticed there is no AC for summer. .no outlets at bedside.

Breakfast had a great variety. Location was great to walk to restaurants.

Cozy home in the small town of Baddeck. It was perfect for our short stay while we explored the Cabot trail. The room was fairly comfortable. Met owners at breakfast, they were both lovely. They went out to get me gluten free bread and cereal when they found out I was celiac which was very kind. Good choices for breakfast. Helpful with questions we had.

We booked the most basic room, which meant the bathroom was across the hall, minorly inconvenient, but wish I had read the description better as we may have chosen a slightly upgraded room. But in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't a huge deal. No tv in the room, but there is one down in the living room.

Lovely, charming old Inn right on the water with beautiful view from some rooms and nice outdoor seating. Nice breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet.

Slightly expensive compared to similar places we stayed.
