The Juniper Inn

I was a little concerned about quietness, as the rooms are over a restaurant, but there was no need to worry. The room was cozy and quiet.

The room was spacious and the host left us a bottle of wine and a tray of goodies. We had a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave, and a Nespresso in the room. The decor was unique and fun.

It was a little loud in the evening due to the nearby restaurants, but the noise died down at a reasonable hour and we didn’t have trouble sleeping.

This was a lovely place to stay. We were greeted to a care package of snacks along with excellent tips for where to visit. The property owners were wonderful communicators and made us feel at home. If you're looking for a unique historic property close to amenities with luxurious sheets, thoughtful details throughout in a wonderfully lit room with lots of natural light in a great location, then this is the place.

The overall ambience and cleanliness

I booked a suite however the owners called that they had switched it to a queen bed room as suite wasn’t available and it was a website glitch. Moreover, they did not even refund the difference as I paid for a suite not a double room

I loved the vibe and the customer service and communication from the host.

It's an older building with super high ceilings so it took quite awhile to heat the room up when we got there. But once we warmed up, the room stayed warm.

The room was comfortable and very clean. I had no idea they were themed rooms so when I walked into the flamingo room, I absolutely loved it!! Bottle of bubbly, waiting for me on the bed with snacks. Tall ceilings big windows great view. Wooden floors in a beautiful historic building. Big fluffy bed with lots of pillows. Real plants in the room that was great!! Restaurant downstairs and a pub across the street. Lots of options for food and good coffee in the area.

I needed a pen, but I survived the night!!:)
