Charming and quaint room,. lovely flower boxes outside and great view. Staff friendly and helpful

Limited facilities for food preparation. Since there were no open restaurants during our stay except the pizza place for evenings only, having a hotplate would have been helpful. WE avoid using a microwave if at all possible which was there.

Pretty little cottage Location, 3 minutes walk from ferry, 15 minutes from all restaurants. On the waterfront with a big window overlooking the sea We saw a Sea Otter (we don't have these in the UK/ out of the window and rushed outside for half an hour of entertainment as it rolled ove etc then dived to catch a big crab which it put on its stomach to eat We missed the dolphins though as we were at a restaurant when they apparently passed by

Warning re Alert Bay - only one inn / restaurant open Sunday and Monday when we visited - late June, and it closed at 8

stunning, breathtaking location...the room was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable, amenities in room met all expectations...location was spectacular! Best of all are the people on alert bay....the warmest, friendliest people we have encountered anywhere we have travelled around the world! The First Nations people have created a community where you truly "feel the love" from the moment you step on to the island until you sadly need to leave!
