Location, room windows and decorating

Wifi was not working morning of departure

The location is perfect, on the main street l, walkable to the festival buildings and Navy Hall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with window that opens for fresh air

Little noisy on the first floor - you can hear people coming in and out of the building

Friendliness of staff, central location, spacious car park. Homely lounge with tea & coffee. Two double beds in our room.

No breakfast option in hotel but plenty options close by.

Location was great park your car and walk everywhere

The location was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and cozy.

Not a lot, I am afraid…….

The room we had booked was called a “deluxe Queen”, which it most certainly wasn’t. There was a large skylight that had no kind of covering for early morning. The dubiously deluxe queen bed was squished into a space that meant that one person could not have got up to go into the bathroom in the middle of the night without extreme difficulty. All in all it looked uncomfortable and certainly not in anyway deluxe. …I am moving on to write here about the terrific young women behind the desk ,who saw our distress, and dealt with it brilliantly. She was empathetic , really listened and the next thing we knew she had made phone calls and we were on our way to the Queen’s Landing…brilliant and SO appreciated!

The location is amazing! You are so close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere! The onsite parking was also a bonus. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities at the Prince of Wales but it was definitely nice to have the option. We were also easily able to get food deliverer to the property.

The stairs are rough. I booked the location knowing about the steps and it was fine but it’s definitely not fun getting all the luggage up the stairs. The room also had a couple of steps inside which was odd. The shower head was leaking pretty badly and diverted all the water directly into the corner of the shower.
