Das Zimmer Himmelrych ist sehr grosszügig und hat genug Platz.

Es wäre schön im Zimmer einen Kaffeemaschine zu haben.

All members of staff were friendly and helpful - they have varying degrees of English from fluent to basic [like my schoolboy German] but all transactions were easily accomplished. The hotel is pretty simple and basic - but it has a commodity that's hard to come by, which is genuine charm The bedrooms are sparse and simple - BUT I had a fabulous sleep in the beds and woke up refreshed. The rooms are spartan, but clean - DO NOT expect any typical hotel concessions such as a mini bar and plasma screen TV The bathroom [shower + lavatory] are throwbacks to the 70's - but the water is hot & clean and we had no complaints Overall, we had a very pleasant time - the "deficiencies" made us smile because the whole point of the place is its lack of pretentiousness [no no obvious Instagrammers or "influencers" spotted]

A proper Lavatory seat [not flimsy plastic] would be a cheap and happy fix! The restaurant menu is too long and complex for a limited team The breakfast was great - full marks to the breakfast cook The evening menu is EXPENSIVE for what you get [we'd been to Kronenhalle in Zurich so we know what "expensive" means in Switzerland and I think this hotel raises expectations too high Nevertheless - full marks to the Fondue as I'm now a covert; it really did taste good!
