Berghaus Iffigenalp

L’endroit magnifique. Les chaussettes très douillettes et la bouillotte pour dormir, en début juin, les chambres n’étant plus chauffées.

Le déjeuner n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre et est cher. Par contre, il est copieux. Petit bémol, le buffet est déjà desservi à 8:55.

Dinner was tasty, if not particularly copious, and the dessert was excellent. Breakfast was good, a lot of variety. The room was basic as one would expect in a berg hotel.

I would have like access to an electric kettle and a sink, either in the room or in a public area. It would've been helpful for tea and coffee.

The staff was very nice, the rooms very cute and clean. The restaurant offers great choices and has indoor and outdoor seating.

Breakfast was great, although a bit pricey (CHF 20).

The staffs were friendly and the food was reasonably priced with high quality. It’s reachable by bus and conveniently located to start the Iffigsee-Rundweg hike. The hot water bottle in the room and hot water in the bathroom were very much appreciated! Overall, a wonderful stay!!

Since the building is old, there’s not much insulation for sound and heat. One night, I woke up because of the cow bells:D I recommend bringing earplugs

The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.
