"A gem of a B&B"

We loved our stay here. It's in a quiet area yet a short walk to the centre . The top, red room has a sunny balcony with beautiful views. A gluten free breakfast was provided and a breakfast bag left for us when we left early. The owners were friendly and helpful. They have created a lovely, cosy home with interesting, well chosen antiques where you will be very comfortable and well looked after. We hope to return.

Lovely couple Juan & Concha .very helpful.good location. Breafusts were tasty and filling . Just 10 minutes walk from centre of mijas pueblo ..passing narrow whitewashed Streets .still keeping it village character.

Since they only have a few hotel rooms it feels cosy, like a very comfortable home stay. The host was very friendly, also good communication (where to park the car/ recommendations for dinner etc). Great location, the building is beautiful and well maintained. In the morning they served a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend! (Also near the airport, 25 min drive)

"Beautiful place, beautiful town, a little off the beaten path, we loved it!"

A beautiful little guesthouse! We stayed in Room 2 at the top, which is definitely worth the few extra euros if it's available. Two balconies with views in every direction made us wish we could stay more than one night. Our hosts were very welcoming, and packed us a bagged breakfast because we had to leave very early for the airport. Free parking is very close by, but be careful not to take a wrong turn like we did and drive through the narrow one-way streets to find it. Bonus—it's only a 30-minute drive to the Malaga airport.

This is totally not a reflection on La Casa de la Iglesia, but be aware that it is about a ten-minute walk (through beautiful winding streets) to get to restaurants. Maybe because it was off-season when we visited, but many places were closed, and we had to walk around a bit to find a place to eat.

"Fantastic little hotel - highly recommended"

Very comfortable beds, good shower and a great breakfast. Quiet location, not far from parking. Lovely hosts. We booked a small room but were pleasantly surprised by its space and appreciated having a fridge.
