La Casa de la Iglesia

Had a room with Windows on 3 sides (3rd floor?) and views were very good. One side with big enough terrace to fit couple of chairs/small table and standing space to take in the views. Free (but relatively small) car park about 5min walk away with easy shallow slope on the way. Host was nice in prepping a simple breakfast bag to take with us for our early trip to Malaga Airport. It's a family run business and very homy. Host is very good with communication & guidance; just make sure to check your emails/messages.

The hospitality of the hosts Concha & Juan was fabulous, they made our stay extra special providing us with maps of the town and walking trails and we were made very welcome. We walked to Fuengirola one day which took about 2 hours but had the most amazing views so very enjoyable although we did get the bus back as it was mainly uphill. Breakfast was plentiful with a selection of meats, cheese, bread, croissants, jam and fruit. The room was lovely with a spacious shower, two terraces, one of which we would sit and watch the sun go down over the mountains each evening with a gin & tonic. Mijas Pueblo is a beautiful place with many restaurants, museums, an art gallery and beautiful views all around. Will definitely return in the future.

The owners, Juan and Concha went out of their way to make sure that our stay was perfect. The room was superb, with two balconies overlooking the town, and it was well equipped and scrupulously clean. We learned that Juan had renovated the premises himself and he had obviously done a fantastic job. The breakfast was excellent, plentiful and served with a smile. I would definately recommend La Casa de la Inglesia for a stay in Mijas.

The reception by Juan & Concha was extremely lovely. They were very kind & attentive. I had an early start on the next day, way prior to breakfast time, and they made sure there was a little bag with food waiting for me. They gave plenty of tips of things to do upon arrival. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is really very nice looking.

For a short stay in Mijas this hotel is excellent. It is pleasant short walk away from the town centre. Lovely building with very clean rooms & facilities. W enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Unfortunately there were no tra & coffee making facilities in the room.
