The Factor's Inn & Factor's Cottage

It was a spacious room with a nice seating area. Very comfortable bed. Room filled with plenty of light as lots of windows but also good blinds for sleeping.

Drink bottles being thrown into the outside skip when we were in bed going to sleep.

Beautiful large comfortable room.

We were given a spacious room in the cottage which is primarily a self catering facility so we didn't really get to interact with any of the staff. The room is very well equipped, clean and comfortable and the property is in a quiet location near Fort William which was ideal for our two night visit. The property is dog friendly which also allowed us to bring our 12 year old labradoodle.

There was nothing not to like however compared to some of the properties of a similar standard that we have stayed in during our 19 day tour of Scotland I would question the value for money

It was lovely arriving at the castle to pick up keys very beautiful grounds Rooms were very spacious and ours had two bathrooms which was fabulous! Asked for a few glasses for the room and you would have thought we were stealing them! We did get however very clear these don’t belong to the room! Yes ok we understand take them back!

Staff in the pub could have been more friendly quite abrupt if honest all because we came through a wrong door! Could be doing with a mini fridge no such facilities No glasses in the room we had to go and ask for glasses at the bar General cleaning appeared ok however on the bedside tables etc not to my cleaning standards and tbh for the price I would expect higher standards. The windows in the bathroom need treated cosmetic yes but doesn’t look great

Room very spacious, ample parking close to the hotel

Narrow hallways was a bit difficult with my suitcase, the menu in the restaurant was very limitedband very strange

Had to pay extra for breakfast £ 38 per person
