Manager gave warm welcome, recommended local food and bus services. Room was spotless

Rooms cleanliness was acceptable. Car parking was also acceptable.

Turned up after a 250 mile journey, found the building into be locked up and unstaffed. Managed to phone and speak to the owner who explained that the room was open and key was in there. Room was outside which wasn't expected. The room was very cramps and the bed was uncomfortable. and mattress had worn springs. Floodlights in courtyard shone through the windows until around midnight. Soundproofing could hear everyone outside or moving around upstairs from.me.

The lad behind the bar was really helpful despite being very busy and by himself.

The room was cold and smelled a bit damp, things were generally a bit tatty and starting to fall apart. I stayed here previously in a room above the bar and it was much better than my room this time which was in a separate building behind the pub.

Its simplicity. I was there for a short astay due to GNR. Inly spoke to the staff on the phone but had a great experience. Answered and cleared all my pre- concerns with ease. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Small winge....Door glass, hence light came through while sleeping.

We had been assigned a twin room, after pointing out we had booked a double, a double with en-suite bathroom provided. Clean neat and tidy.

We had booked bed and breakfast accommodation, noting that the restaurant specialised in Indian food.....Wonderful. On arrival found that despite much advertising on the building the restaurant was closed. No real explanation given. The last thing I wanted after a 5 hour drive was to have to go looking for a place for dinner....fortunately we found a place in the next village. Same thing the following morning, not even a Continental style breakfast offered. Finding a place open for Breakfast took us further out, but we succeeded. Why was the information regarding the restaurant declared when booking, we would opted for a different hotel.?? Why were we charged for Bed & Breakfast??

Bed wasn't the comfiest and hairdryer didn't work.
