Breakfast starts too late when staying there for business

Good convenient central overnight stop for Poundbury. Breakfast good. Would have preferred leaner cut of bacon rather than streaky. Large spacious room and comfortable bed. Decor a bit old fashioned though

Healthier cooked breakfast. Room decor and bathroom a bit oldfashioned. Felt like a timewarp, though old looking style had modern flush, shower etc. Old wash stand meant to be for decor in spacious bathroom, but would prefer they updated the space to provide separate modern shower and bath.

I had always wanted to visit Poundbury and had an opportunity this Easter weekend. We were a family of 4, parents and two older children, had one night, with an evening meal and breakfast. The rooms were fabulously comfy all the staff helpful and attentive. We loved the info in the rooms about Poundbury and the hotel. Great to have a lovely selection of teas and coffee in the room. They were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well provided with ample hot and cold choices. Coming from the North we were surprised at how reasonably priced the bar drinks were too. All in all an excellent stay. Would’ve loved to stay another night!

Food was good. Free parking in very large car park.

Apparently someone had thrown up in the bar area and the staff opened several windows to ventilate. The outside temperature was about 4 Centigrade. They left the windows open for the rest of the night. It was extremely cold!

Breakfast good as ever

Room decor looking a bit tired I thought Dead plant on landing showed lack of attention to detail. It's a serious point as it shows the Company is just in for the money
