"Excellent, stylish hotel, with super facilities."

Visited a number of times, always super welcome, rooms large, clean and well equipped.

Lighting in rooms and in particular the bathroom is moody and no where near bright enough, but that’s only a tiny negative in what is a super place to stay over.

​One of our party has a medical condition, this was pointed out to the female duty manager, on the night of the 20th. She then went into a tremendous dialogue. About food allergies, we pointed out that it wasn't an allergy and iIt was a medical condition. But she would not listen. We asked her to leave us alone, but she persisted. I suggest you have a word with this young lady, to listen to guests, and when requested to leave, do so.

"OK but should have been so much better"

Breakfast was OK and Dinner was good. On one evening the Alarm went off but the staff did not seem to know what to do, which was a little worrying.

The bed was uncomfortable and the bedroom lighting was so bad that it was very difficult to read a book which was extremely annoying

One of my favourite stays during our trip! Excellent location and excellent food! Excellent mulled wine during Christmas time. Excellent dinner with live music. Will be delighted to stay there again!
