The location was good.

On arrival we were shown to our room up a narrow flight of absolutely filthy stairs. The corridor carpet has not been cleaned in years. The room appeared to have clean linen on but the carpets and bathroom were appalling. I would not walk barefooted on the carpets! The shower head was filthy and horrible. To make it worse the smell of the place was horrible. I had to take my wife to another hotel the Alverton for the 2 nights. I have asked the hotel for a refund and will accept a cancellation fee but we did not even unpack and left. The worst hotel I have ever been in bar non. Regards David Taylor 07796886812

Parking tricky

The room was basic but clean and the bed very comfortable , It had a lovely bathroom with very good shower and everything I needed such as kettle , hair dryer etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite being over a pub and in the centre of the city my room was very quiet.

The decor could be updated possibly

Excellent position for the Hall for Cornwall.

The night access to the property. Poorly lit down a side alley.

Room was good size with decent bathroom, I was impressed by them having decaffeinated coffee! The location is excellent, right beside the impressive cathedral and close to city centre shops, etc.
