AUComfy bed and pillows. Little bar fridge. A window that opened with nice thick curtains. Really friendly staff. Decent breakfast and lovely service.

GBGBGBVery pleasant dinner in the pub with a great atmosphere and plenty of life. Breakfast was great. Room exceeded expectations - plenty of space and seem to have been recently refurbished to a high standard. Walk-in shower as well as bath. Peaceful area - good night's sleep.
Carpark was full - popular pub for food and drink. Had to park up dark road; not a great problem but glad we had a torch.
GBGBGBReally enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room with lovely added touches such as the mini fridge and brownies. Friendly staff made our visits to the bar enjoyable, too. Great base to explore the South Lakes.
