The Alma Taverns Boutique Suites - Room 1 - Hopewell

The manager and the bar staff of Alma Vale Tavern were fantastic - friendly and helpful. The room was larger than I expected - lots of space - and very clean. I would have liked a comfortable chair to sit in (upholstered) but, otherwise, the room was very, very good, and the bed was amazing - huge and very firm, which is perfect for me as I have issues with lower back pain and arthritis. The bathroom was well appointed.

The entrance to the upper floors where the guest accommodation is located is something of a drawback. The stairs are uncarpeted and there was a very strong meaty smell that I assume was coming from the kitchen. However, once on the floor where the accommodation is located, this was nicely decorated and carpeted, and welcoming.

Vi elsket dette stedet! Stort og kjempehyggelig rom, god seng, kaffekoker og kaffe på rommet, samt minikjøkken med vann, kaffe og cornflakes på gangen. Tavernaen i etasjen under var også kjempehyggelig, med god stemning. Neste gang prøver vi maten - og teateret.
