"Lovely staff; clean airy rooms & great food."

Staff were universally friendly & very efficient

Not their fault, but the noise from the diverted HS2 traffic at night was pretty bad. Large numbers of industrial vehicles thundering past which would not usually be the case.

This was a fantastic little pub. Beware it doesn't open until 5pm so you can't check in early but everything here was lovely

Nice size clean room

Somewhat outdated, with traces of humidity on the room ceiling. Quite cold even with the heating on. There was quite some noise from the pub below until about 11 PM
