Full English breakfast was exceptional (and I've had quite a few !) Very comfy and homely room.

Two very small points - no milk on teatray. And at evening meal, I had the venison steak and chips, but opted not to have the peppercorn sauce. A small salad garnish or similar would have made for a more appetising plate (but the food was very good).

Service, food, room attention to detail and fresh coffee.

The green light was bright in the ceiling. They confirmed it was an alarm.

We booked this pub due to the excellent ratings and reviews- we were not disappointed. Exceptional staff and service, lovely environment, great food and beer. Warm and friendly atmosphere and well presented rooms.

Nothing it was perfect but to help other travellers; remember this is a roadside Inn with light traffic close to the pub on weekday mornings. The well insulated double glazing and easy to use climate controls more than compensate.

Very friendly staff, attractive accomodation, comfortable bedding, nice coffee in room, very clean. Cooked breakfast nice.

Breakfast bar rather meagre (bread and cereal choices). Evening meal was slightly overpriced. Fish in fish and chips thin and a bit undercooked.

Breakfast was great and the location was right near to where we needed to be for the event we were going to
