The Heathfield Inn

Very welcoming, clean and attractive, plenty of room and good menus. Very large and comfortable bedroom plenty of safe parking.

It was just a little bit isolated, nowhere near any attractions or shops, et cetera.

Staff were pleasant

Very old and dated. Mold in the bathroom and room cold . They did supply portable heaters !

Food was excellent, the room was great. The decor was in keeping of the original house.

The floor was a bit uneven in places, considering the age of the building it was to be expected.

A lovely character pub. Our room was spacious and traditional. We had a nice drink in the pub and played some of the board games the provide for the guests which was a great laugh. The breakfast was really lovely & we liked the fact we had several options + cereals.Thanks for a nice stay!

Can be a little loud until close but you are in an historic building (and a pub!) so not a problem for us.

Welcoming and friendly Inn, it was unusually busy when we arrived but we were made welcome and given a choice of rooms, set up my temporary office in the restaurant and could work easily on the free wifi, had a nice dinner later and once again good food at reasonable prices - great breakfast in the morning as well, so much better than staying in the faceless big chain motel down the road.

Nothing - all was very good, many thanks and we will be back again very soon.

Not a lot

Prices are outrageous food came (lamb) uncooked Overnight security non existent any one can access property as we found out as someone was trying to get in our room on our last night at 02:37 he had keys and trying lock but was shouted at and fled away. On going for breakfast next morning other guests reported they heard goings on Overnight reported to manager and checked CCTV found to be a drunken member of staff who after a telling off has kept his job. We did receive a refund but would we stay again i don't think so
