Excellent location!! The pub had food and a great beer garden! The staff work so hard! Breakfast was great too!!

The have a large range of beer in the bar. Nothing else I am sorry to say.

The room was just above one of the entrances to the pub and had a large angle window. Until about 11.00pm a group of people who were using the pub below chattered away non stop. The bed was a joke it was like trying to sleep on heavily crated foam. In the end we made make shift beds on the floor it was more comfortable. No one you can complain to as only bar staff are in the building. On entering the shower room the soap holder was lose, the sink was so small you had difficulty using it. There was one show ring for towels, no good for two people. A small glass shelf above the mini sink which made it almost impossible to use the sink and the shelf was so small you could hardly get a thing on it. The shower had one loose runner. We had a meal at the pub and both went for burgers but sadly we would have done better going to McDonald's as at least you get lettuce etc were these had little other than the burgers in one and chicken in the other. We had great expectations of the Ancient Briton but to be honest wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Schone en mooie echte pub met vriendelijk personeel, prachtige omgeving. Mooie tuin met picknicktafels.

De wifi was heel slecht.

Very friendly staff and helpful throughout the stay. It was well placed to be able to get to different places. Food was very good and staff in the restaurant were very nice and friendly.

There was dust on top of the clothes rail/storage unit.

Could have done with some hooks for towels etc. in the bathroom. No wi-fi to rooms.

Breakfast was very good. considering the room is above a pub , it was peaceful , music was turned off around 9:30. Good size room.

Bathroom facilities need work, the shower wasn’t working properly and the bath didn’t pug didn’t seal properly.
