Great location, friendly and helpful staff, made you feel very welcome. For food the breakfast was excellent, plus evening meal was great, Steak pie was one of the best, home cooked and plentiful and the Rhubarb crumble was excellent. Highly recommended place to stay

"Short but enjoyable stay in a lovely place, comfortable and nice food."

Beautiful location on our cycling route. Very quiet when we stayed. Warm, comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful but not too ‘matey’/ intrusive. Nice bar with pleasant atmosphere. Clean and tidy but sufficiently relaxed to feel comfortable arriving - wet- on bikes. Shower was fantastic! Room a good size.
