Manorbier Castle Inn Sunset Room

we stayed on the rum shack at back of hotel . it was lovely . lovely situated near the beach castle lovely walks highly recommended .

good location

no en-suite and a very noisy pub. Great if you’re part of what’s going on in the pub but not so great if you want to get to sleep before 1.30 am.

close to where I needed to be

was loud way past closing times on a few nights. the heating didn’t work and the shower only had to temperatures either boiling hot or freezing cold. (bath was fine though)

The room was quite cold.

The pub served good food and drinks.

Shared bathroom was dingy and unclean. The Landlord was wrestling on the floor of the bar with one of the locals. The lamps in the room had no lightbulbs.

clean, very comfortable bed, location was lovely staff very nice, use of shared kitchen facilities was brilliant

Needs some comfy garden furniture in the beer garden and re-do the grassy area so you can sit on the grass. the benches got uncomfortable
