The Rambler Inn & Holiday Cottage

Great location and old and authentic pub with a sunny beer garden.

It felt dated and could do with a refresh. In the bar and restaurant the tables and surfaces felt sticky, like they could do with a really good clean.

The location was convenient, easy access by train with access to many walks. Unfortunately, Edale has very little other amenities, so I likely wouldn't stay there again.

The food at the Rambler was average at best, and rooms were old and in need of an update. Staff was friendly enough, but quite young and often couldn't offer suggestions to questions such as uber use etc.

The price has doubled since we stayed three years ago

All the staff were great, a delicious breakfast and the room was very big and comfortable

Beautiful pub/hotel right at the start of the Penine way and several other routes. Staff were very friendky
