Churchills Inn & Rooms

So convenient in the centre and the pub was next to it. My parents had ground floor so was perfect for them being elderly. The staff were so nice especially the cleaner/owner can’t praise her enough. It definitely had what we needed.

The only issue wasn’t the property was a section at the front a bit too steep for my mum because she is older and has health issues. Don’t let it put you off.

The whole stay was just amazing. Kath was extremely friendly and made a huge fuss of our 6 year old son. The room was clean and had everything we needed. All Staff in the bar were great. Thanks for a wonderful 3 day stay. The location was just amazing.

Location was perfect, the host was warm and welcoming, extremely dog friendly.

Churchills Inn & Rooms is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere. The lady there greeted us, showed us to our room and was lovely. The room comes with lots of complementary tea/coffee. The bed was large and very comfortable. We'd have loved to have had a drink or three in the pub, but due to having a surprise visit to see our daughter and her partner, we just ran out of time!

The room/bathroom could have done with a little TLC in a couple of areas, but overall it was clean, functionable and we couldn't complain at all. Sunday night, the area around us was a little noisy with revellers, but not really the pub's fault. One morning the bin lorry came early, so again not really the pubs fault! It's a shame Churchills Inn & Rooms don't offer a breakfast option, but no worries, as less than 5 mins away are cafe's, one is called The Magic Roundabout, nice food and great smoothies!

Great location

Comfortable and clean room with everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet as separate from the main pub building and excellent location very close to Main Street and lake side. Staff helpful and friendly with smooth and quick check in.
