"Would stay there again andwould recommend to others."

10.0

The property was very central to everything and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The beer garden was very private and inviting. The bedroom was large as was the bathroom and it was all really clean. The food was amazing.

There was no continental breakfast option.

"Rooms were charming and comfortable (but no A/C). Pub was lovely, great ambiance and excellent food."

Everything, except there was no elevator.

There was no elevator and we had to carry luggage up several flights of stairs. To be fair, the staff were very helpful in assisting us with luggage.

"Been over ten times. If food doesn’t improve we won’t come again. stay again. Some service poor."

6.0

Lovely. Rather quirky. Clean.

Nil. Good Bert poor. Survey asks no good question: dinner dreadful. Sent it back the I was ignored. Menu far too ambitious and over complicated. Breakfast disappointing too. Bar service.. three of 5 pints excellent. But two badly poured.

"The Erskine Arms"

10.0

Great staff. Very polite, courteous, cheerful, and helpful. A clean, spacious room and en suite. The bed was so comfy! Just what I needed after some long days walking in Eryri. I liked the decor and themes in my room and throughout the pub, and I think that my room was priced appropriately for the time of year (mid-June). The Erskine serves really great food and has a reasonably priced and varied menu. I had three meals (b/fast, lunch, dinner) and enjoyed them all. 11/10 for the pork chop! Ideal location near to the railway station and the town. The Erskine Arms is probably going to be my go-to choice from now on for any visits to the North Wales coast or Eryri (Snowdonia). I look forward to my next stay.

Not dislikes, my only concern was that the multi-level layout of the pub and the access upstairs to the rooms might be a bit difficult for someone with mobility issues. A mini cooler for the complimentary bottled water in the room would be a nice touch. The room has a powerful fan, but it's very rattley on its stand. The mechanism keeps sticking as it pans across.
