Breakfast is very good. The best scrambled eggs I have had.

Spotless and comfortable. Very pleasant staff. The hotel is well placed for local canal walks. The breakfast would have been improved by the addition of fruit and yoghurt. Nice selection of evening meals.

The Inn looks like a lovely place on the website in a quiet village, ideal for a work stopover outside Northampton. However, it’s a shame that the rooms are tired, mine had a very dodgy lock, smelt musty and the train noise is awful and shakes the whole place when one goes by. The noise from other rooms is also loud with creaking floorboards and chatting. Worst night’s sleep I’ve had which you don’t want ahead of a busy workday. Another low point was the hair in my pizza! You feel like a real outsider too and quite unwelcome in the bar area. I would advise staying elsewhere.

Breakfast here normally good but total lack of fruit and yogurt. Breakfast choice limited. Bar dining area poor, not private. Breakfast dining room very good. Car park to the rear dark, unkempt and in my view dangerous because of lack of lighting and uneven surface with water pools, not good.

Location was great for the counties crematorium on Tuesday Food very good (both dinner and breakfast) The lady who did breakfasts was lovely. We had a great conversation after I had finished.

Tv had no radio facility - i much prefer to listen to radio than watch TV so that was a disappointment The staff member who gave me room key didn't appear to be happy

This is a very well appointed pub/hotel, close to the grand union canal and the attractive village of Blisworth. Our room was clean and comfortable and a reasonable size. There are separate bar and restuarant areas, both of which are welcoming. On the night we stayed, there was a 3 piece band ( very good ) playing in the bar which was an added and unexpected bonus. We had dinner and breakfast and all food was excellently cooked and presented

The dinner and breakfast menus are rather limited for choice. A few more options would have been welcome. Our room overlooked a busy railway line, but the noise was not enough to disturb our sleep
