I have stayed her before and it does what is says on the tin as it were.

The WIFI is hit and miss at best, the hosts should look into this as it is important to have access to WIFI for work. I ended up tethering to my phone and using mobile data.

If you’re going for a gig downstairs then it’s great to fall into bed after a few beers. Like a good private room dorm in a hostel.

Can’t think of anything for the price and location to gigs.

I didn't expect such a clean and comfy room for £55, I gave stayed in lots of 4/5 star hotels and I have to say the bed was as comfy as any of them. Loved the kitchenette and even though I was told it could be noisy because of road works I didn't hear a sound.

Always stayed here when i can for motorsport events at castle donington ,i had a bigger double room this time due to their being two of us .Comfy bed plenty of room and bigger bathroom too its in an ideal location and a quieter part of the city .You do get some noise from the pub as they have live music bands on but they finish at 11.You get a kitchen with some breakfast stuff to use and a fridge to store anthing you bring .

only one thing for some reason the wifi wasnt working to well in the room unless you opened the door maybe because farest room from the router not sure or the signal couldnt get thru the door

Lovely clean room, excellent location, really nice to have breakfast buffet items available too, great value for money

Lovely spacious and comfortable room in a perfect location and ace pub downstairs. The carpark around the corner is really cheap too.
