The Flowerpot

We enjoyed our stay at the flowerpot it was located right near the town so we didnt need to get taxis, it was very nice and clean and they left food out in the kitchen for breakfast 😀

The only thing that I think they could do is add a shower mat in shower as it was very slippery when the floor was wet

Help yourself breakfast toast cereal and bars

Close to city center and the kitchenette was nice.

Easy to locate, multi storey on next corner. Went into bar & was seen to immediately, booked in. Taken next door, shown room & kitchen facilities. Although room was on the small side, it was adequate for a single person for a one night stay. Took a bit fiddling to get shower 🚿 to my preferred setting but once set it was lovely. Came back from a night out & the band were still playing beliw, but at 23:00 it all stopped. Slept well in a comfortable bed 🛌 with very little traffic noise. Next morning 🌄 I just had one or two bars from the kitchen as didn't fancy cereal or toast. Placed keys 🔑 in box & departed at 9am for drive back to Newcastle. All in all, a good, budget friendly hotel in the Cathedral quarter. Shall consider 🤔 this establishment next time I'm visiting Donington Park for bike 🏍 racing 🏁.

At first the shower 🚿 was either scalding or tepid but a bit fine tuning got it right, was probably set correct in first place!
