The oozing opulence, subtle but coffee and praline chocolate in a bag..:that’s class. Cans of water, next level, especially having Demerara with full fat milk. Felt good to mix with these country folk. They know how to live.

Hartstikke leuke kamers en in een prachtig stadje. Ook avondeten en ontbijt in the Olive Tree waren erg goed.

It was different, the decor gave ir a oldye worldye feel. The choice of teas coffees a hot chocolate were good as were the biscuits. Very pleasantly suprised!

Lovely character room in the centre of town and wonderful breakfast

Awful smell of damp affected my asthma and green fire safety light above the door was so bright that got no sleep. Real shame as otherwise very nice room

Gorgeous room with huge comfortable bed and pillows and luxurious bed linen. Fabulous location and friendly staff.

Very comfortable room with large bathroom. Central location with easy parking.

Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately due to a widespread power outage soon after we arrived, in the Wimborne Minster area, we had to relocate to a sister hotel in Blandford Forum. The difficult situation was handled with great expertise by the staff at 1777, The Olive Tree and the Crown Hotel. The outage was outside their control but they were extremely helpful in resolving a difficult situation.
