Griyatama Bungalow

Our stay at this place was sort of perfect—truly a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings. The palm trees swayed gracefully in the breeze, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop that felt like something out of a dream. The accommodations were immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable experience. Waking up to the sight of those beautiful palm trees each morning was pure bliss.

The included breakfast was nice, but the portions were quite small. Nusa Penida does not have ride-share taxis so the main transport was private drivers. We organised transport through the hotel which ended up being very expensive. They charge unreasonable amounts for short trips so if you are visiting the island, definitely organise your own driver. There were many mosquitos on the property so using the mosquito net is essential. The bathroom had no ventilation so it constantly felt and smelt musty. Good value for the price for a short stay but would not stay longer than 1-2 nights.

Staff was super nice and did their best to make us feel comfortable.

First night we had plenty of mosquitos in our room due to missing window in the bathroom. Reported it in the morning and it was fixed within few minutes.

Liked the humble host, very accommodating and sweet. Supported in providing ancillary services. Room was worth the money.

Great clean cottage with all the amenities. It's a small property with 4 cottages. Very well maintained by the family who were super friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast, especially the smoothie bowl.

Gede and his family were incredible at our stay at Griyatama Bungalow. The home cooked food was amazing, and the setting of the bungalows are so picturesque. Gede organised trips for us in the area, and made our stay on Nusa Penida so easy. Would definitely stay here again!

It was really good stay. The host is super supportive. The room is clean. The sightseeing is awesome. The food is really good and cheap. You can order any time in a day. If you want to snorkeling, just ask the host about the tour and they will suggest for you with a reasonable price.

GRIYATAMA bungalow is a really beautiful property of 4 bungalows that sits on the top of a palm jungle in the inland of Nusa Penida, at just 5 minutes by scooter from the beautiful Crystal Beach - very good spot for beautiful chilling sunset. The property is very well managed, clean, and the staff is super friendly. Gede, the owner, really makes his best for your staying to be the most you can have in Nusa Penida. What we liked is the authenticity of this experience as well. The food, cooked by the staff, is delicious. We suggest to take the Indonesian options which are really superb. Finally, what we really appreciated is the improvement the property is doing on the feedbacks it receives. For example, we found the Wi-Fi to run really well, despite negative feedback about that from other previous visitors.
