Beautiful and quiet property, with outstanding hosts! The cottages, while a little rustic, are comfortable and have everything you need. I had the many good nights of sleep on that bed! Breakfast is simple but always very tasty and more than enough. Gede and Putu went above and beyond to make my stay that much more memorable, and Zula (designated security guard) always welcomed me with a wagging tail - it all was pretty special. Having an outdoor bathroom, I was also very lucky that I got to shower while looking up at the full moon one night during my stay! The only suggestion I would make is to have more shelf space for folded clothes. Everything else was great :)

Shrining Cottages was such a haven to stay at because of its quite location and the intimateness of there only being four rooms as well. However, what made our stay there even more enjoyable was the kindness and joy of Gede (the main staff member working/caretaking of the cottages), he was always there to help, offer advice on what to do or where to go, would always greet us and have a chat with us, he is absolutely wonderful and carrys the essence of the cottages. Also such a hard worker providing all of us breakfast, looking after the cottages, cleaning, and providing info, its incredible. Thankyou Gede!

The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean. The pool was very nice and most of the time we had it to ourselves. Breakfast was basic but good and the location was quiet but a short scooter ride to the town. There is a nice beach a short walk away.

Lots of mosquitoes in the room all the time. Every time we moved something mosquitoes would fly out of our bags and clothes etc…

We had a great time! The Cottage and the garden with the pool are beautiful and feels like an oasis. You have everything what you need. There is even a yoga mat in the room. The Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it and can definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at Shrining Cottages - the bungalows are so gorgeously designed and very comfortable. The garden and pool are also lovely to enjoy. Breakfast was exceptional and plenty. Very kind and dedicated staff who were always very helpful with anything I needed - scooter rental, laundry, recommendations, taxi etc. The location at first felt a bit out of the way but I soon learned that there was a lot around within walking distance - a really lovely beach just down the hill that also leads to a path into the town, and some good restaurants around the corner.

The WiFi was a bit spotty but I think that is just a part of being on the island :) location - probably more convenient to rent a scooter staying here but I did walk where I needed to go a lot of the time without much trouble.

Location - difficult without transport - need either a scooter or to use taxi bus.
