Castaway Surf Retreat

Beachfront property, upgraded to beachfront deluxe room, which is much larger with living area, pantry and terrace. American breakfast was ok, with egg station. Great restaurants within walking distance, and the walk along the beach will take you to the river and it was quite scenic and great for photos. The lady manager is talkative and very helpful and welcoming.

Unfortunately the weather was cloudy with rains in late April.

Just wow everything was unbelievably beautiful there.

Only things that were slightly not great was the toilets/showers occasionally didn’t have much water/power to them

Great location to meet surfers and visit yo-yo’s. Buffet breakfast ideal for fuelling your day. Excellent hospitality from manager Arti. Very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Thank you!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The setting on the beach was gorgeous but no lunch or dinner available - easily solved by a short walk to Lisa's Garden which is outstanding

Walls in room need a lick of paint or a clean. New rooms are under construction....

Right on the beach, beautiful location. Nice to have a deck to spend time on and fridge with water all around the property.

Infrastructure is a bit worn out but still reasonable for location. little bit of mould in bedroom.

Good communication with the manager prior arrival. The manager is very nice and friendly. Staff is nice too. Great location on the beach, beautiful sunset. Nice breaky.

The room we were in had a thin wall separation with the another room so we could basically hear every single little noises from the other room and vice versa.
